==Culture== The [[Coulby Mansion and Park]] were built between 1911 and 1915<ref>[https://www.cleveland.com/wickliffe/index.ssf/2013/06/wickliffe_continues_restoratio.html ''Wickliffe Continues Restoration . .'']</ref> by [[Harry Coulby]], a shipping magnate who served as Wickliffe's first mayor. It cost over $1 million at the time.<ref name="cityofwickliffe.com">[http://www.cityofwickliffe.com/city-hall/coulby-mansion.html Wickliffe History - Coulby Mansion]</ref> This mansion is on the [[National Register of Historic Places]].<ref>[http://landmarkhunter.com/138283-harry-coulby-mansion/ Harry Coulby Mansion - posted to the National Register of Historic Places (24 August 1979)]</ref> Coulby Mansion was Coulby's home before he died in January 1929. After that it was used as a Catholic girls' school, until Wickliffe City purchased the building and grounds in 1954, converting it into Wickliffe's City Hall. The previous owners did not damage or remove many original fixtures.<ref name="cityofwickliffe.com"/> Coulby Mansion has sixteen rooms, seven fireplaces, a Tiffany skylight, hand-carved walnut moldings and paneling from Bohemia, and an extensive garden with fountains. The exterior of the building is white [[Glazed architectural terra-cotta|glazed terra cotta]].<ref name="cityofwickliffe.com"/> The grounds have been formed into Coulby Park, the city's principal open area.<ref>[http://www.cleveland.com/wickliffe/index.ssf/2011/08/historic_wickliffe_woodland_wi.html Wickliffe Notes]</ref> It has trails, a pool facility, extensive playground equipment, and a pond stocked with fish.
