==Politics== [[Republican Party (United States)|Republican]] [[Drew Springer, Jr.]], a businessman from [[Muenster, Texas|Muenster]] in [[Cooke County, Texas|Cooke County]], has represented Throckmorton County in the [[Texas House of Representatives]] since 2013. Springer defeated Throckmorton County rancher Trent McKnight in the Republican [[runoff election]] held on July 31, 2012.
