== Filming location ==

Other locations include [[Glossop]], [[Gamesley]], and [[Hope Valley, Derbyshire|Hope Valley]] in [[Derbyshire]]; [[Marsden, West Yorkshire|Marsden]] and [[Sowerby Bridge]] in [[West Yorkshire]]; and [[Mottram in Longdendale|Mottram]] in [[Greater Manchester]].<ref name=bbc-comedymap/>

The "Local Shop" is a purpose-built building on nearby [[Marsden Moor]].<ref name=viner/>
