Psion registered the trademark ''Netbook'' in various territories, including the [[European Union]]<ref>[https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/000428250 EUTM 000428250]</ref> and {{US trademark|75215401}}, which was applied for on 18 December 1996 and registered by [[USPTO]] on 21 November 2000.
