==Transport==
A train service runs at [[Palmers Green railway station]], operated by [[Thameslink and Great Northern|Great Northern]], with southbound trains running to [[Moorgate railway station|Moorgate]] and northbound trains running to [[Stevenage railway station|Stevenage]] via [[Hertford North railway station|Hertford North]]. Some trains also terminate at [[Gordon Hill railway station|Gordon Hill]]. During May 2019, the train service was disrupted due to platform works at Stevenage.

[[London Buses|Bus]] routes [[London Buses route 34|34]], [[London Buses route 102|102]], 121, [[London Buses route 141|141]], 232, 299, 329, [[London Buses route W4|W4]], W6, W9 and the [[London Buses route N29|N29]] operate locally.

The [[A406 road|North Circular Road]] and [[A10 road (Great Britain)|A10]] are the main trunk roads. The A111 through Southgate gives access to the [[M25 motorway]] at junction 24.

An electric [[tram]]way along Green Lanes as far as [[Winchmore Hill]] was developed in 1907, helping to further develop the area. The tramway is now long gone.
