Racially, the 2021 [[American Community Survey]] estimated 54.5% were [[Non-Hispanic whites|non-Hispanic white]], 15.8% Black or African American, 4.7% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 5.8% multiracial, and 18.5% Hispanic or Latino of any race. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.26. As of 2021,<ref name=":0" /> there were 313,822 households with an average of 2.48 people per household. The median value of an owner-occupied housing unit was $164,000 from 2017 to 2021, and the median gross rent was $929.

In 2010, the median income for a household in the county was $42,916, and the median income for a family was $54,721. The [[per capita income]] for the county was $25,723.
