====Ocean acidification==== {{Main|Ocean acidification}} Ocean acidification describes the decrease in ocean [[PH#Seawater|pH]] that is caused by [[human impact on the environment|anthropogenic]] [[carbon dioxide]] ({{CO2}}) emissions into the [[Earth's atmosphere|atmosphere]].<ref name="cald03">{{Cite journal|last=Caldeira|first=K.|author2=Wickett, M.
