Other elementary schools in the city include: Brookside Elementary School, Red Oak Elementary School, Rosenwald-Dunbar Elementary School, and Warner Elementary School. The Hattie C. Warner Elementary School on Wilmore Road is named after local teacher Hattie Catherine Warner (1886β1963) who taught for 46 years in Jessamine County.
