Longmont has bus service to Denver and Boulder as part of the [[Regional Transportation District|RTD]] transit district. Longmont is connected to [[Fort Collins, Colorado|Fort Collins]], [[Loveland, Colorado|Loveland]], and [[Berthoud, Colorado|Berthoud]] via a [http://www.flexnoco.com FLEX] regional bus service.

In 2012, Longmont was recognized by the [[League of American Bicyclists]] as a silver-level [[bicycle-friendly]] community. Longmont is one of 38 communities in the United States to be recognized with this distinction.
