===Administrative history of Kashubia===
The westernmost ([[Slovincians|Slovincian]]) parts of Kashubia, located in the medieval [[Lands of Schlawe and Stolp]] and [[Lauenburg and Bütow Land]], were integrated into the [[Duchy of Pomerania]] in 1317 and 1455, respectively, and remained with its successors ([[Province of Pomerania (1653–1815)|Brandenburgian Pomerania]] and [[Province of Pomerania (1815–1945)|Prussian Pomerania]]) [[Potsdam Agreement|until 1945]], when the area [[Oder-Neisse line|became Polish]]. The bulk of Kashubia since the 12th century was within the medieval [[Pomerelia]]n duchies, [[Teutonic takeover of Danzig|since 1308]] in the [[Monastic state of the Teutonic Knights]], [[Second Peace of Thorn|since 1466]] within [[Royal Prussia]], an autonomous territory of the [[Polish Crown]], [[Partitions of Poland|since 1772]] within [[West Prussia]], a [[Prussia]]n province, [[Treaty of Versailes|since 1920]] within the [[Polish Corridor]] of the [[Second Polish Republic]], [[Invasion of Poland|since 1939]] within the [[Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia]] of [[Nazi Germany]], and [[Potsdam Agreement|since 1945]] within the [[People's Republic of Poland]], and after within the [[Third Polish Republic]].
