I-40 enters the west-central part of the state and runs for {{convert|285|mi|km}} in Arkansas. Running through the [[The Ozarks|Ozark Mountains]], I-40 serves [[Ozark, Arkansas|Ozark]], [[Clarksville, Arkansas|Clarksville]], [[Russellville, Arkansas|Russellville]], [[Morrilton, Arkansas|Morrilton]], and [[Conway, Arkansas|Conway]].
