In his second season with Brescia, he helped them win the [[1993–94 Anglo-Italian Cup|Anglo-Italian Cup]], after defeating [[Notts County F.C.|Notts County]] 1–0 in the final at [[Wembley Stadium|Wembley]] and also they finished third in [[1993–94 Serie B|Serie B]] and earned promotion back to Serie A.<ref name="thesefootballtimes"/><ref name="via Serie B"/>
