==Public transport== Air service transport is provided by [[Plattsburgh International Airport]] (30 miles to the north), and [[Burlington International Airport]] (across the lake via the ferry in Essex, to Charlotte, Vermont). Both are within easy driving distance. Burlington International Airport serves international customers, and Plattsburgh International Airport serves regional and national carriers. Ferry service between Essex and [[Charlotte, Vermont]], is provided by the [[Lake Champlain Transportation Company]].
