==Membership==
Members of the public are encouraged to join English Heritage as "members". Participation in consultations and web-based surveys by English Heritage is not restricted to its membership.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/professional/training-and-skills/improving-practice/consultations/ |title=Consultations |publisher=English Heritage |access-date=6 May 2011}}</ref> It invites various groups and members of the public to give views on specific issues, most notably in recent years about the [[Stonehenge road tunnel]] project proposals.
