The [[2020 United States census]] reported that Delhi had a population of 10,656. The population density was {{convert|3,035.9|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of Delhi was 27.6% [[White Americans|White]], 0.5% [[African Americans|African American]], 2.8% [[Native Americans in the United States|Native American]], 3.6% [[Asian Americans|Asian]], 0.2% [[Pacific Islander Americans|Pacific Islander]], 46.3% from [[Race (United States Census)|other races]], and 19.0% from two or more races. The whole population lived in households. There were 2,757 households, out of which 52.2% included children under the age of 18, 61.3% were married-couple households, 5.9% were [[cohabitation|cohabiting]] couple households, 18.2% had a female householder with no partner present, and 14.5% had a male householder with no partner present. 10.6% of households were one person, and 4.0% were one person aged 65 or older. The age distribution was 30.1% under the age of 18, 11.1% aged 18 to 24, 27.3% aged 25 to 44, 22.5% aged 45 to 64, and 9.0% who were 65{{nbsp}}years of age or older. The median age was 30.8{{nbsp}}years. For every 100 females, there were 103.6 males.<ref name=DP1/>

There were 2,840 housing units at an average density of {{convert|809.1|/mi2|/km2|disp=preunit|units&nbsp;|units|}}, of which 2,757 (97.1%) were occupied. Of these, 70.4% were owner-occupied, and 29.6% were occupied by renters.<ref name=DP1/>
