On 18 March 2011, the Ministry of Information of the Transitional Federal Government began experimental broadcasts of the new TV channel. Two such TV stations re-broadcast [[Al Jazeera Arabic|Al-Jazeera]] and [[CNN]]. [[Eastern Television Network]] and [[Somali Broadcasting Corporation|SBC TV]] air from [[Bosaso]], the commercial capital of Puntland. The Puntland and Somaliland regions also each have one government-run TV channel, [[Puntland TV and Radio]] and [[Somaliland National TV]], respectively.<ref name="factbook"/>
