As of the [[census]] of 2010, there were 1,035 people, 398 households, and 283 families living in the city. The [[population density]] was {{convert|1089.5|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|1}}. There were 415 housing units at an average density of {{convert|436.8|/sqmi|/km2|1}}. The racial makeup of the city was 90.4% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.4% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.8% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.4% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.6% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 2.7% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 3.7% from two or more races. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 3.00.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

The median age in the city was 41.6 years. 23.1% of residents were under the age of 18; 8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 24% were from 25 to 44; 34.7% were from 45 to 64; and 10% were 65 years of age or older. As of the census of 2000, there were 969 people, 367 households, and 256 families living in the city. The population density was {{convert|1,384.1|PD/sqmi|PD/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. There were 387 housing units at an average density of {{convert|552.8|/sqmi|/km2|sp=us|adj=off}}. The racial makeup of the city was 92.67% White, 1.96% Native American, 1.14% Asian, 0.31% Pacific Islander, 0.10% African American, 1.44% from other races, and 2.37% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.99% of the population. There were 367 households, out of which 36.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.1% were married couples living together, 8.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.0% were non-families. 21.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 3.07.<ref name ="wwwcensusgov"/>

In the city, the population was 28.6% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 25.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 99.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.4 males. The median income for a household in the city was $47,500, and the median income for a family was $54,250. Males had a median income of $41,029 versus $26,071 for females.
