Chico died of [[arteriosclerosis]] at the age of 74 on October 11, 1961, at his Hollywood home.<ref name=NYTobit>{{cite news| title=Chico Marx, Stage and Film Comedian, Dies at 70. Chico is entombed in the [[mausoleum]] at [[Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale)|Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery]] in [[Glendale, California]].
