The most common other countries of birth were [[England]] 5.5%, [[New Zealand]] 3.0%, [[South Africa]] 1.9%, the [[Philippines]] 1.3% and [[India]] 0.8%. 85.7% of people only spoke [[English language|English]] at home. Other languages spoken at home included [[Afrikaans]] 0.9%, [[Standard Chinese|Mandarin]] 0.7%, [[Italian language|Italian]] 0.6%, [[Tagalog language|Tagalog]] 0.6%, and [[Filipino language|Filipino]] 0.5%.<ref name="ABS" /> In the 2021 Census the most common responses for religion in Bunbury were [[Irreligion|No religion]] 47.5%, [[Catholicism|Catholic]] 17.2%, [[Anglicanism|Anglican]] 12.3%, [[Christians|Christian, nfd]] (not further described) 3.3%.<ref name="ABS" /> The most common occupations in Bunbury included Technicians and Trades Workers 18.4%, Professionals 16.3%, Labourers 12.6%, Community and Personal Service Workers 12.0%, and Clerical and Administrative Workers 11.4%. In 2021 Bunbury had an unemployment rate of 4.9%.<ref name="ABS" />
