===Westminster=== The town forms part of the [[United Kingdom constituencies|burgh constituency]] of [[Airdrie and Shotts (UK Parliament constituency)|Airdrie and Shotts]], electing one [[Member of Parliament (United Kingdom)|Member of Parliament]] (MP) to the [[House of Commons of the United Kingdom|House of Commons]].
