BRT was inaugurated in 2008. LBSL was inaugurated in 2019. The central hub for city buses and long-distance buses is the [[Oshodi Bus Terminal]],<ref>{{Cite web |title=Oshodi Transport Interchange – Planet Projects |url=https://planetprojectsltd.com/projects/oshodi-transport-interchange/ |access-date=30 June 2023 |language=en-US}}</ref> which is visible from afar.
