===Defense industry===
Chengdu is home to many defense companies such as the [[Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group|Chengdu Aircraft Company]], which produces the recently declassified [[Chengdu J-10|J-10 Vigorous Dragon]] combat aircraft as well as the [[JF-17 Thunder]], in a joint collaborative effort with [[Pakistan Air Force]]. Chengdu Aircraft Company has also developed the [[Chengdu J-20|J-20 Mighty Dragon]] stealth fighter.
