Veneta is located adjacent to [[Fern Ridge Reservoir]]. Veneta provides outdoor sports fields at the Bolton Hill Sports Complex located off Bolton Hill Road. This is an {{convert|11|acre|ha|adj=on}} sports area with baseball and soccer fields.
