===Incorporation and Consolidation===

On July 16, 2019, voters from the area of the town outside of Tuxedo Park voted to incorporate the rest of the town as the Village of Tuxedo, to prevent new incorporations of villages and to enable the town government to prevent oil pipelines from crossing the town.  On the same day, voters from the entire town voted to immediately consolidate the new village with the town.
