==Uses== In [[Pre-Columbian era|North American pre-historic times]], rhyolite was quarried extensively in what is now eastern [[Pennsylvania]]. Among the leading quarries was the [[Carbaugh Run Rhyolite Quarry Site]] in [[Adams County, Pennsylvania|Adams County]].
