AOL marketed a [[#Netscape Internet Service|discount ISP service]] under the Netscape brand name. A new version of the Netscape browser, [[Netscape Navigator 9]], based on [[Firefox]] 2, was released in October 2007. It featured a green and grey interface. These additional features were included in the final version of [[Netscape Navigator 9]] (version 9.0.0.6), released on February 20, 2008.
