In 2013, the constitution was changed. Since 2013, the process can be started by at least three-fifths of present senators, and must be approved by at least three-fifths of all members of the [[Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic|Chamber of Deputies]] within three months. The process starts in the [[Senate of the Czech Republic]] which has the right to only impeach the president. After the approval by the Chamber of Deputies, the case is passed to the [[Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic]], which has to decide the verdict against the president.
