According to a passage in ''[[Deipnosophistae]]'', the sophist and [[dithyramb]]ic poet [[Likymnios of Chios|Licymnius of Chios]]<ref>Licymnius is known only through a few quoted lines and second-hand through references (Smith, [https://www.perseus.tufts.edu/hopper/text?doc=Perseus:text:1999.04.0104:entry=licymnius-bio-2 s.v.
