The racial makeup of the county was 62.9% [[Race (U.S. census)|White]], 3.9% [[Race (U.S. census)|Black]] or [[Race (U.S. census)|African American]], 2.7% [[Race (U.S. census)|Native American]], 1.4% [[Race (U.S. census)|Asian]], 0.6% [[Race (U.S. census)|Pacific Islander]], and 1.7% from two or more races. 31.4% of the population were [[Race (U.S. census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (U.S. census)|Latino]] of any race.

The racial makeup of the county was 88.67% [[Race (U.S. census)|White]], 0.36% [[Race (U.S. census)|Black]] or [[Race (U.S. census)|African American]], 0.31% [[Race (U.S. census)|Native American]], 1.09% [[Race (U.S. census)|Asian]], 0.14% [[Race (U.S. census)|Pacific Islander]], 8.19% from [[race (U.S. census)|other races]], and 1.24% from two or more races. 14.00% of the population were [[Race (U.S. census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (U.S. census)|Latino]] of any race.
