As of March 2011, there were a total of 2,449 registered voters in Green Township, of which 337 (13.8% vs. 16.5% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 1,015 (41.4% vs. 39.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 1,096 (44.8% vs. 44.1%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
