During the mid-1990s, an attempt was made to publish an authorized [[graphic novel]] adaptation of the Gor series under [[Vision Entertainment]]. A Gor region was established in the virtual world of ''[[Second Life]]'' in 2005, where users roleplay as characters based on the novels. In it, characters interact in standard Middle Age scenarios, combat, and sexual situations.
