The [[Race and ethnicity in the United States Census|racial makeup]] of the CDP was 62.8% White, 20.0% African American, 2.1% Asian, 1.7% Native American, 0.8% Pacific Islander, 7.9% from other races, and 3.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 15.4% of the population.

There were 1,679 households, out of which 84.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 85.4% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 3.5% were non-families. 3.2% of all households were made up of individuals, none of whom were 65 years of age or older.
