==Prevention==

There is a decrease of recurrent febrile seizures with intermittent diazepam and [[phenobarbital]] but there is a high rate of adverse effects.<ref name=":0" />  They are thus not recommended as an effort to prevent further seizures.<ref name="AFP2012" />
