==Climate== Enterprise has a humid continental climate (KΓΆppen Climate Classification Dfb), one of the less common climate types in Oregon. On June 11, 1968, an F2 tornado hit Wallowa County, north of Enterprise. The tornado cut a path between 8 mi and 10 mi long, and between 0.5 mi and 2 mi wide. About 1800 acre of prime timber were destroyed, with an estimated loss of between 5 and 50 million dollars.<ref>{{cite web |last=Miller |first=George R. |title=Oregon Tornadoes: More Fact Than Fiction |publisher=George R.
