Game 1 ended in a rare 3–3 tie, called due to darkness after 12 innings.<ref name="1907 World Series"/><ref name=Tie/> The Tigers scored only three runs in the succeeding four games, never scoring more than one run in a game, and lost the Series, 4–0.<ref name="1907 World Series"/>
