=== 2000s: Pink Floyd reunion and ''On an Island'' === In 2001 and 2002, Gilmour performed six acoustic solo concerts in London and Paris, along with a small band and choir, which was documented on the ''[[David Gilmour in Concert|In Concert]]'' release.{{sfn|Povey|2008|pp=306, 314–315}} On 24 September 2004, he performed a three-song set at [[the Strat Pack]] concert at London's [[Wembley Arena]], marking the 50th anniversary of the [[Fender Stratocaster]].{{sfn|Povey|2008|p=315}} On 2 July 2005, Pink Floyd reunited with Waters to perform at [[Live 8]].
