== Economy == Closter has an outdoor mall called Closter Plaza that includes stores, restaurants and a movie theater. First constructed in the 1960s, a long-term construction project began in July 2015 that added a [[Whole Foods Market|Whole Foods]], [[Target Corporation|Target]], [[HomeGoods]], and other new businesses to the {{convert|208000|sqft|adj=on}} mall, which occupies a {{Convert|16|acres|adj=on}} site.<ref>Lynn, Kathleen.
