Buellton has two schools which form the [https://www.buelltonusd.org Buellton Union School District].  Oak Valley Elementary School serves those students in kindergarten through 5th grade while Jonata Middle School serves grades 6 through 8.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Home|url=http://buelltonusd.org/home|access-date=December 31, 2020|website=buelltonusd.org|language=en-US}}</ref> The district serves approximately 600 students.
