==Education== The town is home to a public school, [[Bennett Community School District|Bennett Community School]], whose district includes the town of Bennett and surrounding rural areas as well as the neighboring town of [[New Liberty, Iowa]]. The school had been [[K-12 (education)|K-12]], but beginning with the 2005β2006 school year, the junior and senior high school (grades 7-12) entered into a whole grade sharing agreement with a nearby school in [[Durant, Iowa|Durant]], primarily due to declining enrollment and budget shortfalls. The [[primary education|elementary]] school continues to operate as before.
