It was their first independent record since ''The Yellow Tape'' and the first album recorded at Fresh Baked Woods, Page's recently-completed farmhouse studio. The album contains artwork by Hearn in its [[liner notes]], which is also available in hardcover-book form with a CD included. The album was promoted with a series of television and in-store appearances at bookstores in Toronto and the US northeast and West Coast.
