The larvae of the [[bamboo borer]] (the [[moth]] ''[[Omphisa fuscidentalis]]'') of [[Laos]], [[Myanmar]], [[Thailand]] and [[Yunnan, China]] feed off the pulp of live bamboo. In turn, these [[caterpillar]]s are considered a [[Entomophagy|local delicacy]].
