==Posthumous legacy== [[Dalkey Archive Press]] has reissued five volumes of Schmidt's work translated by [[John E. Woods (translator)|John E. Woods]]. The series includes ''Collected Novellas'', ''Collected Stories'', ''Nobodaddy's Children'', ''Two Novels'', and most recently, ''Bottom's Dream''.
