Liverpool has a thriving and varied nightlife. The majority of the city's late-night restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs, music venues and comedy clubs are located in a number of distinct districts.

Figures by the Liverpool BID Company suggest that the busiest nights of the week in [[Liverpool city centre]] are Friday and Saturday. Using cameras to track the flow of people in key locations between 7&nbsp;pm and 4&nbsp;am, at least 1.5&nbsp;million people pass through the city centre every Friday night and almost 2 million people on Saturday nights.
