A number of studies have found that [[disgust]] is tightly linked to political orientation. The higher one's disgust sensitivity is, the greater the tendency to make more conservative moral judgments. Disgust sensitivity is associated with moral [[hypervigilance]], which means that people who have higher disgust sensitivity are more likely to think that suspects of a crime are guilty.
