[[Haryana Board of School Education]], established in September 1969 and shifted to [[Bhiwani]] in 1981, conducts public examinations at middle, matriculation, and senior secondary levels twice a year. Over 700,000 candidates attend annual examinations in February and March; 150,000 attend supplementary examinations each November.
