JIPF states that they want to work for a "fair and lasting peace" in the [[Israeli–Palestinian conflict|conflict]] between [[Israelis]] and [[Palestinian people|Palestinians]], based on national [[self-determination]] and [[independence]] for both peoples.<ref name="Om">[http://jipf.nu/om-jipf Om JIPF] (Eng: About Us), JIPF (Swedish)</ref> Its political programme include demands for a [[History of the State of Palestine|creation of a Palestinian state]], Israel's withdrawal from all [[Israeli-occupied territories|territories occupied in 1967]], the dismantlement of [[Israeli settlement]]s and that the [[Palestinian refugee]] question must be based on the principle of the [[Palestinian right of return|right of return or economic compensation]].<ref name="Om" />

With a grant from the ''Helena Berings Minnesfond (English: Helena Berings Memorial Fund)'' the group co-ran a school program in partnership with the Palestinian Association of Sweden.
