====Symphonic orchestra====
In the 20th and 21st centuries, several composers wrote concertos for [[orchestra]]. In these works, different sections and/or instruments of the orchestra or concert band are treated at one point or another as soloists with emphasis on solo sections and/or instruments changing during the piece.
