===Mark Hurd as president===
On September 6, 2010, Oracle announced that former [[Hewlett-Packard]] CEO [[Mark Hurd]] was to replace [[Charles Phillips (businessman)|Charles Phillips]], who resigned as Oracle co-president. In an official statement made by Larry Ellison, Phillips had previously expressed his desire to transition out of the company.
