In the [[Philippines|Republic of the Philippines]], the [[Philippine Coast Guard]] (PCG) is a maritime law enforcement agency operating under the [[Department of Transportation and Communications|Department of Transportation]] of the Republic of the Philippines government. It is tasked with the broader enforcement of maritime laws, especially against [[smuggling]], [[illegal fishing]], [[drug trafficking]], and [[piracy]].
