The quality of the [[cinematography]] was influenced by Nichols, who chose [[Academy Awards|Oscar]] winner [[Robert Surtees (cinematographer)|Robert Surtees]] to do the photography. The church used for the wedding scene is actually the United Methodist Church in [[La Verne, California|La Verne]].
